Confirmation Preparation

The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seals and confirms the baptized in union with Christ and calls them to greater participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church.

At St. Francis, students are confirmed in the Spring of their 10th grade year.

All students wishing to be confirmed in the 10th grade should have two years of religious education immediately prior to being confirmed, either at a Catholic school or in a parish religious education program. Our 9th grade class meets on Sunday mornings from 9:55 a.m.-10:55 a.m., and the 10th grade class meets Monday nights from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

For more information or to enroll in the classes, please contact Tara Collins in the church office at (205) 758-5672 ext. 125.
